North American Nebula
The North American Nebula, also known as NGC 7000, is a diffuse nebula found in the constellation Cygnus, The Swan. The image above looks at the ?Gulf of Mexico? portion of the nebula. Looking at the nebula in its entirety, it indeed resembles North America.
