Omega Centauri

Omega Centauri is clearly the most magnificent of the Globular Clusters. This is primarily a southern hemisphere object but I was able to "catch it" when it transited at just 10 degrees!

Whew!! Great shot, so HARD to get this one as low as it is. I picked it up for 5 minutes and CCD'd it at 1* 20' altitude. It's the AL Glob. pin,
